Multi-Network Data SIM Cards

No single network has flawless coverage or service and so when it comes to complex or mission-critical connectivity solutions, basic SIM cards leave you exposed. You need the best connectivity possible, no matter where you are.

Global SIM cards for IoT and M2M on 4G and 5G networks globally

SR’s cellular 4G & 5G multi-network data SIMs are ideal for IoT Services providing a primary Internet connectivity on all of the UK networks: Three, EE, Vodafone and O2, and in all EU countries extending to coverage globally. All of our SIMs have DDoS protection as standard and can be supplied with a static IP address so you can easily access and control your devices remotely.

Our Multi Network Data SIMs provide a fast Internet connection without the need for a fixed line (e.g. Ethernet, ADSL, FTTC). This makes our 4G / 5G services ideal as an alternative to fixed line, as a failover solution, IoT or for M2M (Machine2Machine) purposes.

This service can be delivered as quickly as next day to satisfy immediate requirements.

Key Features

Un-steered Multi-Network SIMs

Seamless roaming between O2, Vodafone EE & 3, connecting to the strongest available signal to provide you with the best possible connection

IMEI locking

We can lock SIMs to specific devices to prevent misuse. If a SIM needs to be switched to a different device, we can easily amend the IMEI Lock

Resilient to Network Outages

Mobile networks suffer occasional outages and a multi-net SIM can simply switch to an alternative carrier

Dedicated M2M SIMs

These SIMs do not receive texts or calls, thus preventing spamming that can affect traditional mobile SIM data connections

Fixed IPs

Unlike most single network data SIMs, our multi network SIMs can have public and private static IP addresses allocated for additional flexibility and security

Bespoke packages

We provide pricing and customer support that is designed to suit individual requirements

Aggregated Data

Minimize overspend by drawing on un-used data from other SIMs

4G & 5G

All network connections run over 4G/5G providing future resilience

International usage

We can provide SIMs for both UK and UK/EU usage

Frequently Asked Questions

If you require cellular connectivity for your business, its not a bad idea at all. Below are some key features of multi-network SIM cards:

  • Fixed IP addresses our multi network SIM cards can have public and private static IP addresses allowing your connected devices to communicate with each other
  • No more network outages. Our multi-network SIMs seamlessly switch between network operators without you even noticing or changing IP address
  • Every type of SIM. whether you need a standard MFF2 or industrial SIM – our multi-network SIMs can be used in almost all use cases
  • Steered Multi-Network SIMs– Though our SIMs come un-steered as standard, we are able to steer a SIM to a network that always presents the strongest signal – making them ideal for failover

It’s a data SIM card that operates on more than one mobile network, in fact it has the ability to connect to up to three networks. Multi-network data SIMs are in a stage of explosive growth due to the huge number of uses they have, anything from taxis, pumps and turbines, to CCTV cameras, air conditioning units and alarms. These SIMs allow your business to communicate remotely and get feedback from anywhere; they can be used in tablets, routers and all manner of M2M and IoT applications. The possibilities are limitless.

We’ve seen a real boom in multi-network SIMs being used in security and surveillance, retail, healthcare and renewable energy. The SIMs allow businesses to communicate remotely with their assets and installations, as well as providing remote workers ‘always on’ connectivity as the SIMs have a more than 99.99% uptime in being connected to the internet.

We’re also seeing businesses use the SIMs for failover and increasing their business resilience to internet outages. The SIMs can be bonded to create enhanced connectivity, or simply placed as a back up into devices to be used should a fixed line connection become unavailable.

Businesses who rely on connectivity to operate their businesses. This could be those with remote or roaming workers, companies that have machinery and installations, those that require POS connectivity and much more. Due to their usefulness and reliability, multi-network data SIMs are increasingly being used in M2M applications and IoT deployments.

5G is currently being rolled out globally, with the new network expected to be fully operational by the end of 2024.

Some countries and regions are ahead of the game though and where possible we’re able to help you connect your devices to the new network and help drive the next generation of connectivity.

We expect that the roll-out of the 5G mobile network will replace a substantial part of the fixed internet network due to the increased reach, speed and capacity of the new network. Consumers and companies will also increasingly choose to switch to ‘5G at home’ instead of purchasing a broadband connection from a provider. This can be easily done by using 5G routers for the home, 5G routers for the office and 5G routers for business and M2M/IoT applications.

Reduced network congestion

Network congestion especially in inner city areas or near crowded arenas such as sports stadiums, exhibition halls etc. has been a major problem with earlier cellular technology. However 5G implementation will allow for many more devices to connect via a cell tower and therefore dramatically improve the problems of congestion seen with earlier standards of mobile technology.

Higher Speeds

At present most networks are deploying low or mid band 5G which is providing speeds of 30-250 megabits per second (Mbit/s). The upload and download speeds on the 5G services currently being offered are only marginally better than 4G speeds. However we expect to see the rollout of high band 5G which will provide speeds of over 1Gigabit per second and it is this implementation which will dramatically change the use of cellular technology for internet access
